Privacy Policy

D&J Cleaning Services is licensed, insured, and bonded and has specialized in providing quality professional since 2015.

  1. Supplies
    D&J uses high-quality, tested, and approved cleaning supplies, including a professional-strength vacuum cleaner with an extra-strong filter, to clean your home. However, if you own special products that you would like to have used on surfaces, we are happy to accommodate your request. Please contact our office to discuss prior to your cleaning so we might provide instructions to your cleaner.

    We guarantee consistent quality cleaning services. We employ reliable, trustworthy cleaning people that are motivated by company incentives and rewards. The same dedicated crew will clean your home on each visit.


  2. 24 Hour Guarantee
    Our goal is to exceed your expectations for professional cleaning services, we inspect our work before leaving the premises. If you find our service unsatisfactory, please contact us within 24 hours so we can correct the issue as soon as possible. Requests received by our office more than 24 hours after the service was provided will be incorporated into your next scheduled cleaning, we are unable to offer a refund.


  3. Schedule Changes or Cancellations
    Please notify us as soon as possible with any changes or cancellations. We always try to accommodate your schedule. In your busy life, we understand that things come up suddenly. So, if it is necessary to cancel or skip your scheduled service, D&J merely requires a two-business day notice. If D&J receives less than two business days’ notice, or if we cannot access your home, it will be necessary to charge you the full price of your cleaning. All future cleanings will remain unchanged. If you cancel your monthly cleaning service or pause it, a $30 service fee will be applied at your next monthly service. Schedule or service changes may not be made through service providers. Please contact us directly for schedule changes. Termination of regularly scheduled cleanings must be in writing and 2 weeks before. Recurring service is priced at a discounted rate. Should you choose to cancel recurring service after only one cleaning, please note that our regular One-Time Cleaning charges will apply.


  4. Payment
    If first time client, you must pay the full payment amount due at the day of your cleaning services using our online payment system. Regular clients may be able to pay in cash or check. D&J accepts MasterCard, Visa, Cash, Checks, Venmo, and PayPal. Returned checks are subject to a $50 reprocessing fee.

  5. Breakage/Loss
    The cleaning crew will immediately notify the client or our office of any accidental damage that occurs during any job. D&J is bonded and insured. Our liability limits are set at a maximum of 10 times the cost of the service charge on the day in which the breakage/loss occurred. Notification must be made within 48 hours of service. Key replacement/locksmith fees are paid only if keys are lost or miscoded. There is a $100 per location liability limit for key replacement and/or locksmith services.


  6. Access 
    You have a couple of options for providing D&J access to your home: The most preferred and convenient method: you may leave a key to your residence with D&J. Your key will be kept safe and secure in our key safe. All keys are coded for security and will never have your name or address attached to them. If you have an alarm system or garage code, please give access instructions to D&J. For your safety, we do not return keys by mail. We ask that customers make appointment to give in person.


  7. Dishes
    D&J does not provide with dish cleaning service unless is requested by the client. An additional charge will be applied at you total amount if dish cleaning is requested.


  8. Refrigerator/Freezer Cabinets/Drawers
    D&J offers these services with extra cost, but we require that refrigerators and freezers, cabinets and drawers are emptied and ready to be cleaned. If not, we will skip these.


  9. In-Home Time (Labor Hours)
    Generally, our service providers work in teams of one or two. Please note that, when more than one person is assigned, the quoted time required to complete the job, which was given in labor hours, is reduced. For example, if you were scheduled for a five labor-hour service and two service providers are assigned, the total in-home cleaning time is two and one-half hours.


  10. Holidays
    If your scheduled cleaning falls on a holiday that D&J observes, we will contact you to reschedule your cleaning.


  11. Gratuity
    D&J never requires you to tip, but it is a powerful way to say thanks to your cleaning. Even a personal note from you expressing your appreciation for their service can mean a great deal.


  12. Referral Fees
    Should you wish to hire a present or past D&J staff member for any home-related service outside of your agreement with D&J, our referral fee is $2,500. This fee is due within 30 days of notification from D&J. If the fee is not paid, D&J reserves the right to pursue other methods of collection.


  13. Theft 
    The best protection is precaution. Please DO NOT leave out any money or valuables which could be lost or taken. When we find valuables left out, we will clean around them. You are protected from theft by a Janitorial Bond. If a theft is suspected, our bond requires that you file a police report with your local authorities before contacting D&J Cleaning Services LLC.


  14. Things that we don't clean.
    D&J does not clean any of the following items: pee, pop, vomiting, blood for a person or an animal that is outside the toilet.

  15. Biohazard:
    D&J does not clean any places that contains biological substance that poses a threat to the health of our employees.
